Hey everyone,
I know its been a while since I posted but life, work, family and other commitments have been weighing heavy on my free time. Never the less, here I am.Well I've decided not colour for a while to see how my hair will respond.Of course now I have three colours black, brown and the frosty grey mmmmm. Guess I'll have to get used to it. My loctician says my hair seems to be fuzzing quite a bit, says it might be because of colouring..... and suggested a grooming. I'll try it and see how that works. I have another concern about my locks, hope you guys can suggest...I noticed very fine white balls on the shaft of my locks near the roots on several of them. I washed as usual with the organics Shampoo, then shampooed with VO5 Clarifiying Shampoo but to no avail. It's freaky!!!. When I asked my loctician she said it was called shedding. Have any of you ever heard of that. What do you think can fix it?
Here are some of my recent photos ................ 17 months and counting YEAH!!
Favourite way to wear my hair. Yellow and Peach curling rods, air dry, sleep in them overnight, remove and this style morphs on its own with the curls getting looser and looser as the week goes by. Cann last upto two weeks if I want to but that doesn't happen too often cuz I wash weekly.
I like the browns in my hair.
ReplyDeleteI get those white dots also...they are called papilla. If you Google "papilla" you will see a diagram of the hair from root to tip. If you can remove one hair from your scalp with the root attached, you will see the white ball at the end that was in your scalp. A Natural hair stylist/cosmetologist stated nothing can be done to stop them from showing (given that you are not interlocking or twisting your new growth too tight). Mine are all in the front and I just live with them.
ReplyDeleteThanks Robinc, That information has been helpful especially since Google page says that we normally loose some 25-100 strands of hair each day so I guess the potential is there to see it happen again. My Loctician suggested that colouring would cover them up. So I guess I'll think about it.
